JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Managing of projects for experimental and pre-clinical testing of anti-cancer drugs
  • Planning, performing and evaluation of in-vitro studies in oncology on behalf of pharmaceutical & biotech companies or clinics
  • Preparation of scientific reports for customers
  • Application of public funding for research projects
  • Revision and writing of scientific publications
  • Permanent full-time position, earliest start date is 01.09.2019

REQUIREMENTS

  • Basic requirement is a Master of science in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry or pharmacy (or a comparable qualification) PhD-degree desired.
  • You have gained knowledge in project management experience in academia or industry for more then least 2 years.
  • You have experience in cell culture work, ideally also with the cultivation of 3D cell cultures from primary tissues.
  • Practical knowledge about performing cell proliferation assays and dealing with automated liquid handling stations is desirable.
  • Very good communication skills in German and English spoken and written are also required.
  • Furthermore, you have a great interest in cancer research, as well as resilience, flexibility and teamwork-skills.


Biochemical Technical Assistant (f/m/d) for oncological cell culture

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Isolation and cultivation of 3D cell cultures from patient-derived tumor tissues
  • Cultivation of commercially available cell lines
  • Performing proliferation assays (MTT, CellTiter Glo)
  • Working with an automated liquid handling workstation
  • Laboratory daily routine, e.g. Material supply, cleaning and disinfection
  • Permanent full-time position, earliest start date is 01.09.2019


REQUIREMENTS

  • You have successfully completed your education as a biological-technical assistant, medical-technical assistant or biology lab technician (f/m) or have at least equivalent qualifications (e.g. Bachelor/Master of Science).
  • In addition, you have substantial professional experience in performing cell culture, ideally also with the cultivation of 3D cell cultures from fresh tissue.
  • Practical knowledge about performing cell proliferation assays and dealing with automated liquid handling stations is desirable.
  • Ideally, you have experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Sufficient communication skills in German and English are also required.
  • Additionally, you have a great interest in cancer research, as well as resilience, flexibility and teamwork-skills.
